Adult

The Adult Choir sings at the 11:00 Mass from the second Sunday in September through the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. The Choir rehearses every Thursday and on Sunday one hour prior to Mass. The music is from the great classics of the sacred repertoire, including Palestrina, Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Vaughan Williams, Howells and Durufle. The Adult Choir is open to all who love to sing. Contemporary

The Contemporary Ensemble provides the music ministry to the 9:00 A.M. Sunday Mass throughout the school year. This Folk group consists of professional and amateur musicians, ages 12 and up, who lead with piano, guitars and other instruments. Rehearsals are held an hour before Mass every Sunday at 8am, and they welcome those who can come every week as well as those who can only make it upon occasion. Festival

The Saint Luke Festival Choir sings for Christmas, Easter and other special occasions. This is ideal for those who love to sing but are unable to make a weekly commitment throughout the year. Rehearsals for Christmas begin the first Thursday in November and rehearsals for Easter begin the Thursday after Ash Wednesday. School

The Children’s Choir is comprised of singers from Grades 2-8 of Saint Luke School. This choir performs at school assemblies and concerts. For more information contact Natalie Lauby at nlauby@stlukeschool.com.

Instrumental Ensembles

The Instrumental Ensemble is comprised of students in grades 9 - 12 who play a string or woodwind instrument. The music selected is based on the student's ability. This is ideal for those who have been studying privately and/or have had some orchestral or ensemble experience. The Saint Luke Instrumental Ensemble gives students another opportunity to share their talents with the community, and the chance to work with others who share similar musical interests. Most often, students, participation will be in the form of a “solo” prelude prior to the Saturday 5:30 Mass.
