Saint Luke Parish Library

Brush up on the lives of the saints and the history of Christianity or explore in-depth aspects of theology—Saint Luke Parish has the resources for you!

The Saint Luke Parish Library houses nearly 1,000 titles on subjects ranging from biography and psychology to prayer and spiritual life.  Printed, audio and digital materials are included in the collection, which is located in the parish rectory on the lower level (open during rectory business hours).  The church narthex (lobby) also houses an area for library materials to the left of Flaherty Hall.

Introducing the Saint Luke Parish Library Materials Online Reservation System!

We want to make our library more accessible to parishioners, by implementing a new process to make it easy to find and reserve existing library titles via email, without having to visit the library space.

Now you may locate, reserve and pick-up library materials with just 3 simple steps:

1: Click here to see the inventory: inventory_July_2020.pdf

2.  Send an email to lndjasp@aol.com to request materials.  Include the number, author and title of the items you wish to checkout.  They are all located on the library inventory data page.  Please also include your name and telephone number in the email.  We will retrieve your items in three (3) days, or less.  We will send you an email when the items are ready for pick up.

3.  Pick-up your items on the shelf in the church vestibule marked "On Hold" within 7 days.  Items will have your name on them.

Return items within 4 weeks to the “Library Returns” box located in the church lobby.

You may continue to check-out items the ‘old fashioned’ way by completing the card in the back of the item with your name and telephone number and leaving the card in the basket marked ‘Library’ in the church narthex.
