Saint Luke Ministry WEekends

Picture
Saint Luke Parish ministries are always eager to welcome new volunteers and participants. In September we hold our annual Ministry Fair. On a particular weekend ministries leaders will be on hand in Flaherty Hall after all Sunday to answer questions and provide information on the opportunities in their ministry.

These ministries range from the primarily social (Supper Club, Welcoming Committee) to the liturgical (communion ministers, lectors, and more).

There are numerous opportunities to give direct aid to the needy through social outreach organizations such as Knights of Columbus and Share.

There are also Small Faith Groups, such as Bible study gatherings, a men's prayer group, and a Wednesday luncheon for parish seniors. All these groups serve to broaden your knowledge of the faith and allow for discussion of aspects of faith in a relaxed setting.

Many of these organizations and functions need and welcome help. If you want to become involved and live the Gospel message of Jesus to “love your neighbor as yourself,” you will find ample opportunity for something fitted to your interest and skills at Saint Luke.
