Wednesday Morning Bible Study Fall 2021
Welcome to the Wednesday Morning Bible Study! We believe that the Word of God enables us to love more deeply, completely, and joyfully; that studying the Word of God helps us to understand issues of faith and the society in which we live. We gather as a community of support for those who desire to practice the fundamentals of Christian living – love and forgiveness without exceptions. By coming together, studying Scripture and sharing our thoughts, we grow in our faith.
Please join our Wednesday Morning Bible Study beginning on Wednesday, September 15! This year, we will be studying the Acts of the Apostles, the second volume of St. Luke’s great work on the early Church. The Acts of the Apostles tells the story of how the early Church was guided by the Holy Spirit through challenges in its early missional work, as St. Peter and St. Paul and other apostles teach about salvation through Jesus Christ. As always, we will consider historical placement as well as related Biblical texts as we seek to understand what this book means for us today. There is no homework - just bring your Bible and enjoy the discussion!
We will be meeting from 10:00 – 11:30am on Wednesday mornings in Flaherty Hall, with the possibility of participating also through a hybrid Zoom experience.
If you are interested in joining us, please contact Anna Wallich.
