Ecumenical and Interreligious Ministry
The Ecumenical and Interreligious ministry exists to support the Diocese of Arlington's office responsible for ecumenical and interreligious matters. In accordance with the guidance and principles set forth in Pope John Paul II's encyclical, UT UNUM SINT (That All Might Be One), and subsequent statements by Pope Benedict XVI, this ministry supports our Bishop's initiatives in reaching out to those of other faiths. This includes joining with them in attempts to mend the painful divisions in the Body of Christ via the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity each January.
