The Parish Finance Council

About the Council
The Saint Luke Parish Finance Council is made up of members of the parish who have expertise in financial matters and have been appointed by the pastor to provide advice on the administration of parish funds. Council member responsibilities include reviewing the annual parish budget, reviewing parish financial statements and the annual parish report to the diocese, overseeing the parish’s 5-year capital improvement plan, coordinating all stewardship and fundraising programs and making recommendations on parish fiscal policy and controls.
Subcommittees within the council include the Stewardship Committee, Five-Year Plan Committee and the Saint Luke School Finance Subcommittee. Meetings are held quarterly and as needed to carry out the responsibilities assigned by the pastor. Council members serve a three-year renewable term.
