First Reconciliation at Saint Luke Catholic Church

Children are enrolled in and regularly attend Grade One religion classes before they are placed in First Penance classes in Grade Two. In the Fall of Grade Two the children prepare for First Penance (Reconciliation or Confession).  

Schedule and Important Dates:
First Reconciliation Dates:

​Sunday, March 2 during class for Sunday Morning Religious Ed.
 
**Home Learning students and students who attend other Catholic schools should attend one of our regularly scheduled parish confession times for their First Penance. After attending Confession, please contact the Religious Education Office. Confessions are held on Friday Mornings from 9:30-10 AM, Saturday from 4-5 pm and on Wednesday evenings during Lent from 6:30-8 PM in the confessional, which is located in the chapel.
 
 Wednesday, March 12 for St. Luke School Students after the 9 AM Mass.
                    
Place:           Students in St. Luke’s School will meet in the Church after Mass.
Sunday Religious Education Students will meet in their classroom and then proceed to the chapel.

The First Reconciliation Handbook will be available in November, along with the Blessed: First Penance book for parents and students to work through together. Here is the First Penance Handbook:
