Music for Funerals

Please consult with the Director of Music, Michael Cedrone, to discuss your music choices.

For a funeral or memorial Mass, families may choose one piece of music for each of the following times:
  • Entrance Hymn
  • Music during the Preparation of the Gifts
(this may be a hymn, a vocal solo, or an instrumental selection)
  • Communion Hymn
  • Closing Hymn
It's best to think of music that was significant to your loved one and is likely to be familiar to your family and to others you expect to attend the Mass.

A program will be prepared by the church. If you would like to personalize it with photos or other information, please contact Judy Werner.
